Problems with GM3 module

Hi Guys.
I've got a 2003 4.6is. The central locking wont lock the drivers door. The electric windows switch on the drivers side will only work the drivers window although the other windows will work independently. the boot wont open unless you use the key fob.
Having read through different forums, the likely cause of these problems was a faulty GM3 module, which controls these functions.
I've removed this and had it refurbed by a company specializing in these modules.
Having got it back I've reinstalled it, but the same faults are still present.
When put on a diagnostic machine the GM3 module couldn't be accessed, leading me to believe this was the faulty component.
Its driving me nuts now. Has anyone had similar issues or any ideas what might be the cause

I would contact Scott first, maybe he can repair it, or assist you.

OP,

Check this out

#1 BMW General Module 5 (GMV, ZKE V)
(see the fast path on the left hand side) - General Module 3

or

Search youtube for relay replacement DIY

EDIT
Note: IF you decided to buy a new body module, re-programming is necessary (and once programmed you can't return that item, only if something went wrong covered in warranty)
