Brembo / Axxis Brake Job
First off, thanks to my good friend Art who gave almost his whole day and his expertise on installing these brakes. Installation went very smooth being that Art already did his brakes a few weeks back. Thanks once again Art, you are a great pal :-) Thanks as well to Dave Zeckhausen for helping and providing me with all the helpful info on which brakes and pads to go with. He was a great help. Prices and brake knowledge could not have been beat!! Thanks Dave. Thanks also to Arslen as well, for pointing out to talk to Dave a few weeks back. May have never thought of taking to Dave and getting such good advice if it we not for you. Thanks Arslen. Ok.. on to the Pics. I went with Brembo "Sport" slotted rotors and Axxis deluxe plus brake pads. And after doing the bedding in process that Dave said to do (which was great fun, by the way) and after driving some 5 hours now, everything works great. The Brembos have a zinc anti-rust agent on the rotors which gives it that golden look to it. It kind of looks different depending on which way the light hits the rotor. Anyway here are some pics. Hope yall like them. --Nathan Front Rotor Front Wheel Front Close-up Rear Wheel Rear Wheel Close-up So the whole point of the project was to NOT end up with wheels like this in 1 week :-) |
