Retractable Load Floor Finally Retrofit

A few months ago I posted a message asking anyone if they had installed a
retrofitable load floor in an X5 that did not originally come equipped with one.
I didn't get any response from anyone who did. Many dealers will tell you that
it is not possible, a response that was being directed from BMWNA. Anyway I
liked the load floor in my old 2001 4.4 and since I purchased one of the
original dealer "demo" 4.6is', the load floor was not an ordered option on those
cars. Well, here's the parts list if anyone is interested:

Please double check the part numbers as I copied them from my repair order.
It's not cheap considering the option at time of order is $350.00. It's about 3
times as much to do it after the fact like I did. You should be able to get
anywhere from 10% - 30% off on the parts and installation should be around
$250.00.

There is a retrofit kit available.
Your cost would be around $770 but not sure on the shipping. I do not have one
in stock to weigh and measure right now but It would probably be a pretty
large item to ship. I would estimate around $50 and up if it can go UPS.
