switching between handheld and handsfree

I have the EIS bluetooth kit installed and it works great. I have been trying to figure out how to switch to the handheld phone while in the car, like when I don't want my passenger listening to the phone call. I cannot find how to do that in any instructions I have.

Can someone tell me how?

Thanks
Ted

I have to use the phone to switch to the handset. I was unable to find any other way with my Blackberry 7520. On my phone you push the side wheel to bring up the menu, select "Activate Handset" and press the wheel again. Check your phone's instructions.

From what I know, the BMW BT is always on, and so the only way is to turn off your BT on the phone.

For the Motorola Vxxx, you have to perform it on the phone. Select Settings, Connection, Bluetooth Link, Handsfree and then drop the active connection.

On a MOTO E815, select menu>deactivate hands free during your BT connection.

Correction for Motorola Vxxx series

For these phones you just push the menu button while in a conversation and select "Transfer to Handset" while in the call and it does :)
