My New Cingular 8125 Works!
 

It pairs just fine with original BT module, the -552 I believe. In fact, it works too well. My entire address book is downloaded, and I only want a few names in the car. Is there any way to set things up to only download the contacts on my SIM card, for instance? Otherwise I am left with about 350 names in the car which make the download of the address book into the car essentially useless.

I just got my 8125 and I can't get the addresses downloaded at all? What's the trick? :confused: I went from a Razr that worked just fine to this 8125.

Which BT module do you have? I have the first generation model without Assist. If yours is newer it might not work.

:thumbup: :rofl: Finally! 9th Generation but I still had the problem. I finally figured it out. It was the *660 and other *cingular numbers that was at the top of my phonebook that was already on the phone when I purchaed it. It was preventing the rest of the numbers from loading as the ULF had a problem with the special "*" character.

I deleted them and BINGO! Works like a champ.
