I think the 700W might be the better way to go.

Thats if you want windows. Lots of folks hate it for a lot of reasons.

Did you compare the specs for both the 700W and the 700P?

They sold the operating system because it was so good?

Specs are one thing usability is another. Many find the 700W too difficult to use and there are no where near the applications For the 700W as there are for the Palm. Windows has been sold to a lot of people and a lot of those people hate it.

You are better off selling a 650 on eBay rather than trading it in imho. Palm v. Windows, Mac v. XP, BMW v. Benz. You say tomato, I say clamato. Who cares--personal preference and the ability to buy the wrong products at high prices is what makes this country great! ;)

So lets see...I just purchase a used but in great shape 650 for $260 with shipping...now I can turn around and trade it for the 700 and get back $150 and net the transaction for $110 bucks!!!!!...is this for the P or for the W?
