My New X5 from LA!
My first X! Just picked him up yesterday in LA ... we were able to get very acquainted on the ride back home to LV.
 I flew into LAX early morning then traveled 275 miles to take him home & it was worth every mile! I must say that the guys at Southbay in Torrance are just wonderful! From the moment they picked me up at the airport, to the phone calls I received on the road & a follow up call this morning, it was a very nice experience. They made me feel comfortable and welcome, treated me like a friend. Thank you SO MUCH Monty & Luke ... you guys are Awesome!  Ok, so I know everyone here loves pics and I do plan to take some soon. It rained on the way home & is raining again today.  I did take one quick pic with my cell phone, but the X would just kill me if I posted it ... it was taken after a very long day & he was tired ... Thanks again to Southbay .... I love my new X!!!

Aside: Ever notice the female owners tend to refer to their cars as guys, while the males refer to their cars as women? (Except Michelle's Danica, of course. She has to break all the rules.)

Congrats LVGirl!
My first long stretch of drive-time with my X5 was on the way to LV too!! Longer drive from the SF Bay (mapquest said 10.5 hrs, did it in 7 on cruise control!), but it was prob'ly the best imaginable way to get acquainted with her. You'll love the X5 (what'd you get, by the way?). You'll totally enjoy this board too. Plenty of love here, and it's not the usual guys-only pi$$ing-match carsite (no offense to any other sites out there  )So send on those pics when the sun's shining & Congrats! It is funny how we call our cars the opposite sex- It must be love!

It was alot of fun driving back. He looked so beautiful when I arrived in sunny LA  .... but by the time we got home his shiny new wheels were so dirty  Reply to Mindfull: (My X - 2006 3.0 - Black/Black - prem, sport, rear climate, xenons, pdc..)
