Dealer to order accessories from?

Hey everyone!
I am about to take delivery on my Sapphire Black Metallic 2006 X3 with Premium/Winter/Sport/NAV and a few other goodies. I wanted to add a few more things like to Aux input cable and the Cargo Area Bike Rack. Problem is that I am still in Iraq for three more weeks then I'll be back in Germany where I am normally stationed. I am looking for a place to order BMW accessories either online or over the phone that will ship to an APO (Army Post Office). I have contacted several large dealerships in the states but since they use FED EX they can't/ won't ship to an APO. Does anyone know of a good dealership that would be willing to use USPS to mail stuff to an APO?

Oh by the way, I could just order from a German dealership but because of the exchange rate and the higher prices I would be paying nearly twice the price. And I could just have it sent to my mom then she could send them to me but not only would I have to pay CA sales tax that way but my mom would then have to pay to mail the stuff to me. Not the best solution for either me or her.

Thanks for the help!
Andy

Congrats! In US you can buy from www.crevierbmw.com on west coast and www.morristownbmw.com on east coast. Don't know about Euro dealers. Maybe members from Europe will chime in.

Thanks a lot LeMansX5!

Morristown BMW has an online store that should ship to an APO. Plus there is a 30% to 50% discount on almost all accessories!

Speaking of accessories I came across this BMW dealer's website http://www.shophabberstad.com/bmw-accessories-x3.html. The online store seems to be under construction but there are pictures of almost every accessory for most newer BMWs. The prices seem to be a bit off but like I said I think it's still under construction.

Enjoy!
Andy

Andy,

Glad to be of some help for you. I currently working in Bahrain. I also use APO/FPO to received items from different vender from the states. when a vender is unable to via USPS and only use Fedex or Ground. I have them ship it to my APO/FPO Shipit account in Pa. and in then in turn ShipIt APO/FPO would then sends it to my current APO/FPO address overseas. that's how I receive items from vender that wouldn't ship direct to your military address. here the link http://www.shipitapo.com/home.mgi2
I hope this will help you. also if you open up a account use my ref #3539 on where you hear about the services.
