Opinions on Grayson in Knoxville, TN?

After looking at the VW Touareg, Volvo XC90, and X5, I'm leaning toward the X5 - especially after experiencing the AARP-esque ride of the Volvo. So, I'm looking for any experiences or information related to Grayson in Knoxville - specifically, the service department.

Are they fair and easy to deal with? Quick? Do they do good work? Will they talk to me like I'm stupid because I have the XX chromosome? If I order a part, will they call me when it comes in rather than me having to call them after three weeks of no communication only to find out that it's been there for two weeks? (Pet peeve.)

Thanks for any and all info - praises, gripes, or musings.

Welcome Linz-

Anything you need to know about an X5 can be found here...

Crib notes:

E53 = The X5 up through the 2006 model year
E70 = The X5 from 2007 forward
E83 = The X3

Watch out for the crazies...

If I were you I would not buy the X5, nor any of the other SUV's in your list. With the price of gas, I would just stick with the micro-cycle you have in your avatar !

Do lots of searches and ask lots of questions. We're here to help.

Can't help you on your dealership... but wise choice on the car.

Welcome to the board, by the way.

You will find this site to be an amazing resource. When you start to narrow down the model you are looking for, post your questions in the model specific forums. Oh, and make sure to post funny/off topic stuff in the Lounge You are going to love it here, and we have several regular female posters to make you feel right at home.

Welcome, ML!

Hey, you like all the stuff I do!

As noted above, this Board is an amazing source of info/help/ideas/answers to about an question one has, car or
any topic. However, I'm no help on that specific Stlr.

Are you looking there in KVille at new or used? Different
categories and different ideas will pour at you, depending on
your category.

We are 90 miles east and 4,000 feet higher in lil'Waynesville,NC.

Riding, huh?! Great part of the country, imo.
Welcome to The Board.
Best Regards, motordavid
