They can sell cars but their service department lacks customer service.
3rd battery failure in my 2006 E-83 with 35k. No diagnostics done and battery replacement suggested at my cost (> $300)
2nd failure occurred at 32K and no diagnostics were done. Just a statement that "I didn't drive the car enough"
BMW customer support basically was of no help and said that battery wasn't covered.
No response from BMW Customer service to my concern regarding lack of diagnostics as to why the battery is self destructing.
Next steps are
1 - Diagnostics by a non dealer certified BMW mechanic - I would rather pay for good service rather than using my MP or warranty work (what am I really getting from the BMW warranty?)
2 - a formal complaint to the Indiana Attorney generals office.
