BMW of Lansing, Okemos, MI
After only a few months of service experiences, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I was rather concerned with what seems like a lack of care for customer satisfaction, and a glaring disability within the service department on various levels. Every time a new part was ordered for my car, it was not the correct one. I was told excuse after excuse until I included management in my discussions, when I finally got the the bottom of what had been going on for months. As an example, my most recent service appointment had them ordering four, yes four, new blower units. I had been constantly returning for them to fix their own work. They never had a loaner available supposedly because of my age, although the dealership I am currently using has no problem with it. I submitted a formal complaint letter to the management of BMW of Lansing and BMW NA, neither have replied. I am upset not only at the lack of response on the part of the dealership, but also with BMW NA. I called and made a formal complaint, and after that, there seems to be no concern for the repairs that remain unfinished or my dissatisfaction with the dealership and the quality of the X5. I hope to receive a reply from either side of the ordeal, but after almost two months after filing my complaint, nothing seems to be happening. |

JW: GL on waiting for satisfaction from the dlr or BMWNA mutha...at best you might receive a head pat and 20% off in the parts dept. If the stlr does not seem to care, there is very little that BMWNA can or will do, imo. You did the right thing putting your complaints in writing. Take your biz elsewhere.

If you are in Michigan and can make upto Farmington Hills, i'll highly recommend you to go to ERHARD of farmington hills and ask for Aaron Lee. He is SA there and is very experienced and learned. He himself is a car enthusiast and owns Mustang, Cobra and 325. Trust me his service and knowledge are exceptionally good. Let him know that Inderpal referred you.
