Tam you and I must hang out on the same detailing forums - I did a paint correction on my X5 2 years ago and am do for a single step polish by the time spring comes around - Then I will be doing the new formula Gloss Coat - looking AMAZING

Just need to get some PDR work and then the inner door seam rust repaired on the rear doors prior to starting this - At the age of my X I feel a coating would be best for long term protection of the original paint - even though I clay and seal every 6 months or so, I'd use those as topping coats

Had you applied Gloss Coat previously on cars beforehand? I personally haven't but I hear it is STUPID EASY to apply, even easier than CQUK

First time doing the Gloss Coat. Indeed, very easy to apply. Make sure to wipe the car down with IPA to remove all the oil from the compound/polish.

Yep I'm on that, an IPA wipe is a must for coatings. I should probably only need a pass or two with a finishing pad come spring, my heavy defects are removed - can't wait to try Gloss Coat
