X5world's very own Michelle's X5 full detail!

Okay I got to meet 3 X5world members now and all of you are great! (Michelle, Eugene, and Jeff) I hope to continuing meeting and speaking to all of you.

Basically I got Michelle's X5 at about 4 on Friday, she drove in from MD to go to the get together in CT. I'm not gonna say much the pictures are going to do the talking but here are the steps.

1.Wash car with Adam's Car Wash and FoamGun
2. clayed car with Adam's Clay Bar and Adam's Detail Spray as a lube
3. polished out with Menzerna SIP with a Metabo
4. final polish with Menzerna 106FF with a Metabo
5. applied Lusso Oro for that wet finish
(note due to time we would have love to spend more time polishing out the car with SIP or even PowerGloss Compound however we could not on this visit.)
6. cleaned the window with Adam's Glass Cleaner
7. Dressed tires with Adam's VRT
8. Dressed black trim with Adam's In and Out and Adam's VRT
9. Dressed the wheel wells with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
10. Final wipe down with Adam's Detail Spray

Engine cleaning was done after the wheels, as the engine was still warm
1. Rinsed down the engine
2. Sprayed some P21S Autowash on the engine
3. Brushed the dirt and grime off the engine with a boar's hair brush
4. Sprayed down engine to rinse the P21S off
5. Closed the hood and started up the car. Run the engine for a few minutes.
6. After claying the car came back to the engine to dressed it with Adam's In and out and wiped down the excess with a detailing sponge. Finished with the engine.

Interior:
1. Wiped interior downwith 1Z Plastik (plastic cleaner amazing check the review) followed by 1Z Cockpit.
2. Vacuumed the mats, carpet, etc.
3. Wiped down and scrubbed the leather with Leather Master Strong and then conditioned with Leather Master Protectant. (typically we would use Adam's or 1Z Einszett but this one was so bad we have to use something much stronger)
4. Cleaned the glass with Adam's Glass Cleaner
5. Wiped down the jambs with 1Z einszett detail spray.
6. Went over the dash with some Adam's VRT since we wanted to bring some color back into the dash.

Okay here are the pictures.

Fender before (after wash) again would love to spend more time on it but really needed more time:

Phil is the man!

He and his crew spent over 5 hours on my VERY neglected X5. I could not be any happier with what they did! The pictures do not do it any justice! I never, ever, ever thought it could look as amazing as it looks now! I'm almost afraid to drive it....almost!

From what Michelle told me Phil was very kind in his description of the before.
I saw the results in person. Great job Phil.

The "after" pictures were taken after driving roughly 500 miles since the detail!

I couldn't get a great hood shot yesterday...no pretty clouds or anything reflective to make a nice pic, but I'm going to try again today. I will post them once I do!
