Exterior Trim
Just acquired a 2004 X5 3.0. Detailed the exterior plastic trim using 303 protectant. Drove in rain and it looks terrible! Any suggestions on what product to use on the exterior trim? Thanks. |

I am hearing that Forever Black makes the trim look great.

I've been using Griot's Vinyl & Rubber Dressing for the past couple of years with very good results.
Leaves a nice "non-greasy satin finish," contains UV protection, and is fairly durable. I use it after every other wash, usually a couple of times per month. :xoutpost:

I've used forever black in the past - it does work well, but I'm concerned that it will actually change the color of the trim. I may give the McGuire's a try (Found in another post) since I can pick it up locally....if not satisfactory I'll try the Griot's.
Thanks! |
