Bird Crap

Phil: I had the X parked in my driveway for about a week, and when I washed it today, I noticed a stain on my hood that left a ghost silhouette. Whatcha got to rectify this?

I'd imagine it involves a buffer....

do you have a picture of it?

i would say you may need compound and polish and at the minimal a Porter cable with some good pads.

or you can try vinegar and a towel and blot it ...

Bird Crap can be nasty if left too long! I remember a while back I had the same problem. One nite I was out with a friend, I left my Porsche parked at his house and couldnt be bothered to take it home. Anyway after 2 weeks I picked it up and noticed a nasty Bird stain on my hood. So I washed the car and when it dried the bird crap had left a burn, scortch like mark on the paint work!!! I tried polish but it was no good. So I ended up doing a hood detail. I purchased a light abrasive compund called Fereclá G3, and worked my way over the hood with an orbital buffer, After that I polished the hood as normal and it was back to perfect condition.

Yep it will come out with a machine. But above anything else when you get it rubbed out put about five coats of wax on that hood and bird crap wont stick.
