Hi,
Sorry is this is a FAQ. I have an Aussie X5 with drying leather, and would like the soften it up, and make it look a bit better. I like the moist wet black look that things like Armorall give, but would never use such junk. This leather master vital cleaner you recommend says don't use on Nubuck leather. I presume that it would be very rare to have Nubuck leather in Australian X5's, so I can use this leather master vital cleaner stuff, right? http://www.detailersdomain.com/index...ROD&ProdID=199 Detailers domain don't mention shipping to Australia, but that place that was listed in Australia (ADAM'S Car Care Products Australia - Ordering ) doesn't have this product. Can anyone point me to a retailer of leather master vital in Australia if this is safe to use on an Aussie X5? Detailersdomain.com, will you ship to oz? Cheers + thanks, Scott. |

Hey Phil - The wheels on my X are getting slightly discolored (light brownish) where the spoke hits the outer rim, what's the best wheel cleaner to use to clean them up?
Thanks... Ron

ron,
can you post a picture. I'm going to say you will have to clean them up good and polish the clear on them.

I believe gresch is talking about some brake dust that has been "baked" on after a while. A usual degreaser/wheel cleaner with a brush would not get this off. You need to use a clay bar and just go over the brown areas and it should come right off.

correct if that's the case.
