Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
My 7424 Porter Cable believe it or not was bought back in 2006!

However, I did purchase a velcro backing plate and I believe it came with 6.5 inch pads, they were from "classic motoring accessories" or properautocare.com, purchased before I knew about Detailer's Domain!

If it helps I will measure the diameter of the backing plate when I get home later, I am also using this for the Meguiars MF cutting pads to use for the D300 I will be purchasing!

Another question, are the MF pads from meguiars cleanable like the uber pads, or do they tend to get thrown out after a while? I have my X5 and my GLI to detail in the spring and was wondering if I am good to compound both cars with the 2-pack, or if I should get a 2nd 2-pack of pads.
