I actually used zaino Z5 and a microfiber cloth and lightly buffed the screen. Came out like new. We bought our X5 used and there were spots and marks all over the screen. Looks great now. Big difference

Don't think we have Zaino products where I live (UAE). Zaino Z5 is a car polish. Can I use any other car polish and get similar results?

Give it a try and see. I really like Zaino and have a lot of their products, but they're not the only good product out there. Try using what you have just apply a dab on the microfiber cloth and lightly buff the screen in small circular motions. May take a bit of time in the same spot but the key is not to apply much pressure as you don't want to damage the screen. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

I have the same problem, as if there is a layer that was removed, but there are some spots left here and there... i tried polish, tinner, and aceton (don't laugh at me) it became better, the spots shrank, but are not totally removed... it is taking veryyyy long to rub rub rub... i think few other sessions of polish and tinner will do the trick... any new faster ideas?

yes, plain regular polish (donnu the grade though)... but at a certain point, it wouldn't improve more
it got like 60-70% removed and the others seem to just stay there!

OK I tried t-cut metal polish and it worked great... screen looks like new. The trick is to apply a little pressure while rubbing the screen, then buffing out with a dry cloth, then windex to remove all residue. Very happy with the results.
