The X is done "curing"..... rejex removed and looking sharp

1 other thing to mention about Rejex, it doesn't create a ton of white residue/dust like wax does. It took me about 15 minutes to remove it after it was applied about a half hour to buff it out in the morning.

I was thinking this is just like any other polymer sealants and it is. From their website:

"RejeX is wiped on, allowed to dry to a haze for approximately 20 minutes, wiped off, then allowed to cure for 12 hours.

Curing is required to allow the monomers (polymer building blocks) that make up RejeX to attach to the surface being treated and to polymerize (crosslink) into a crystal-clear, impervious film. It is very important to allow RejeX to cure for 12 hours after the haze has been wiped off. If the coating is exposed to contamination such as oil, fuel, soot, water, cleaners, etc. before it has cured, the contaminants may interfere with the film, preventing the RejeX from achieving it's maximum performance and durability."



NXT 2.0 is actually a cleaner/sealant. It works great but does not last just like any other consumer products. You'll want to use the meg prof line vs the consumer line products. I'm no expert but apply a couple thin even coats of RejeX and a couple thin even coats of a carnauba wax (P21S or similar) and you'll get more than the "pop" you are expecting

thanks, i know the differences, i got the pop i was expecting, i was saying that it wasn't popping in the pics because its a cloudy day. I don't use wax on the x because it sits outside 24x7x365 and doesn't last. The vette gets waxed

Regarding the curing, the only part of the X that I leave the rejex on over night is the hood, it seems to last longer when I do that, but it could be just me hoping Lol after the 12 hours I buff the entire car.

wait, i use rejex all the time. i thought u buff on and buff off like normal wax and then let it sit inside for 12 hours. you leave the wax on and take it off after 12 hours?

That's my understanding as well when I read the instructions from the website... Curing = keep it out of the elements for 12 hours.

I apply it, let it sit for a half hour, take it off, then let it sit in the garage for 12 hours and then buff the entire car. Just poor wording by me earlier, sorry for the confusion. I do leave it on the hood over night, seems to last longer that way, but I could have just done a bad job on the hood the first time i used it .
