i used meguairs scratchX on a black car with heavy swirl marks and mineral deposits that ate into the paint. This beast did a helluva job fixing both problems. If you do end up using scratchX you'll also have to polish and wax the car too.

I've found Meguair's ScratchX so USELESS that I've been meaning to write to Meguair's to tell what an awful product it is. My 2008 X5 came from the dealership with a couple of really, really minor scratches on the rear. ScratchX could not even remove those. Maybe it doesn't work with clear coat?

I have used NUfinish a few times with GREAT results on light scratches and towel swirls on jet black, results were like new (I had exactly what your showing)
people that have used the Zymol cleanse or other paint cleaners, any wax recommendations (I'm assuming you still need that coat of wax after cleaning the paint, right?) is there such a thing as a cleaner and wax in one? |
