Thumbs up Meguiar's Customer Service experience

So I picked up a new Mequiar's product at my local parts store the other day. The employee there and I both balked at the price, but it had a $5 off MIR and I figured eh, if it'll save me some time and effort, it's worth it so I'll give it a shot. I tend to like their products anyway.

Got the product home that night and started using it on my car. It was working great and smelled nice to boot! (waterless wash btw) A few sprays later though, and the pump broke. I had 3/4 of a panel done. Crap. So I go in the garage and open the bottle up and fix it. Go back out, finish the panel, start the next... broke again. Can't leave it that way so this spray/repair/clean process went on till I was done.

Next day, I contacted Mequiar's customer care via the website to let them know that A: I really liked the product. and B: That the sprayer blew. I figured I'd let them know. Maybe it was just a fluke, maybe they have issues with their bottle manufacturer. Who knows.

Today, I got an email from them apologizing for the bottle issue and an offer to send me a new bottle along with an empty so I can transfer what i've got of the first bottle! Wasn't expecting that for sure! The only thing they asked of me was a batch number off of the bottle so they can keep track of them.

Meguiar's = Good People!

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I've noticed that they seem to have great customer service from what I've heard, love their D300 correction compound with the MF cuttin gpads.

What is the price on their waterless wash as compared to say the Adams waterless wash you get on DD? I have the adams and enjoy it quite a bit, its great for the bike too.

Sorry I didn't see this!! The Meg's was an impulse buy after seeing the Adams on DD. It was $20 less a $5 MIR coupon for a 26 oz bottle. The Adams i believe was $9.99 for a 16oz bottle. I figure once you pay for shipping and then apply the discount code it'll probably run close to the same. Course if you're buying from DD, you can't just stop at one bottle of a product It gets addicting to keep the x purty.

BTW, I got the replacement bottle and new bottle over the weekend. So it looks like it'll be a while before I can give the Adams a try
