Metal chrome plates are 5 times as expensive. Plastic chrome is an option if members prefer that, still its more expensive than matt black.
With the current low orders for chrome, it does not make sense to pursue the metal chrome option. So, I am leaning towards matt black for now.

I only have two screws as well. No issues. I don't want to be an ass, but the more narrow you can make the bottom the better. I have Gold Star plates with 'Some Gave All' on the bottom. I would like for it not to be covered. Don't adjust on my accord though. I will still buy one either way.
