Well, like most modifications, they won't void warranty, unless the stealer can prove the aftermarket modification caused anything to go wrong.

Also, I'd rather go with the Rogue Pulleys, for some reason I trust them more, since they have been tuning BMW's for a while now.

Haha, I just read your post before mine, sorry for the mix-up.

Also, what information do you need on the Powerchip?
this is what i sent them a while back -

"I was just looking over the specs again concerning the Gold 93. Throughout the file, it mentions a 27hp gain and 367hp as the max; however, if you look at the graph and the Performance Data, at 6000RPM 372hp is listed as the output of the Powerchip. That being said, wouldn't the hp gain then be 32hp? Of course, this is based on the 4.6is producing 340hp. This brings up another question. Your documentation says that the 4.6is produces 340hp, but the Performance Data and graphs, at 6000RPM, list 342hp as the standard. I realize that, by the numbers, the difference between 340hp and 342hp isn't all that much , nor is 367hp and 372hp. So, could you please explain the discrepancy w/ the numbers?

-Brian"

From what I've read about other pulley installs.

Quote:
Tools Needed:
• Assortment of metric sockets with ratchet
• 31 mm wrench
• Flat and Phillips Screwdrivers
• Safety Stands

Complete installation will require approximately 1-2 hours depending on model and technical competency. If you are not sure of your technical abilities, a competent mechanic can perform the installation.

Step 1. Disconnect battery.

Step 2. Raise the vehicle at the front and secure it with safety stands.

Step 3. On E46 only - Drain coolant and remove overflow bottle located on driver side.

Step 4. Remove Air Box.

Step 5. On E36 with mechanical fan - Unbolt (NOTE: Left Hand Threads) and remove fan from the water pump, leave the fan inside shroud assembly.

Step 6. Loosen water pump, alternator and power steering pulleys bolts.

Step 7. Remove both A/C and main accessory belts.

Step 8. Remove water pump, alternator and power steering pulleys.

Step 10. Lubricate the inner bore of the underdrive alternator, water pump and power steering pulleys with oil. Lubricate with anti-sieze compound all bolts and the alternator nut.

Step 11. Install new pulleys.

Step 12. Install new main belt and A/C belt.

Step 13. Torque down all bolts and the alternator nut.

Step 14. Reverse Steps 1 through 5.

Step 15. Start the car. Verify that the main belt rides true on the underdrive pulleys. Rev the engine several times to confirm.

Step 16. Enjoy!

Now that's for a specific pulley. I'll try to get specific instructions over the next few weeks. I'm focusing on ending the AFE group buy before Christmas
