Yes it is. It became available for MY 2004. I retrofitted in to my '02.

Call or e-mail Morristown for the quickest pricing.

thanks man. I have emailed them before the weekend. Would anyone have a picture of what it looks like? I'm also looking to retrofit into a prefacelift model.

Here are a couple of side-by-side photos from my retrofit. That's my original dark poplar beside the gray. It's a pretty easy DIY job with the center console being the main issue.

thanks so much for the example. Although I like it, it isn't quite what I was hoping to get, this is the example that inspired my original inquiry. (saw it while my wife was looking at the new 1 series) Do you think it is the same trim as what you have, just a darker example?

I should have specified that the color of my wood is actually darker and more gray in person than in photos due to the flash. It's much grayer than in the photos. I have a better picture on my other computer. I'll post it later today.

I haven't compared my gray maple against the newer gray poplar but I would have to say that poplar is darker. I really, really like my gray wood with the gray interior. I matches so much better with the gray leather and black dash than dark poplar. If you can source a complete set fairly cheap, it's worth doing. I like that it's probably the only or one of a few pre-04's with that color wood.

EDIT: Here's a better picture.
