X5 3.0d stiff suspension

I am new in this forum, I live in Panama , forgive my english, I have 2006 E53 X5 3.0d (20,000 milles) my only complain is the ride, is to stiff , I think that maybe it come with sport suspension (shocks), anybody can help me with some information about the different types of suspension, if I can change the shoscks or somthing to improve the ride quality...

I have a 05 Diesel with sport suspension. There is no way you could consider the ride as being harsh. What tyre pressures do you run, and what size wheels and tyres are fitted?
Colin.

thanks Colin for your help, my mheels are 17 and 235/65-17 this are the best choice in the comfort way , but I think this car brig from factory shocks heavier than the standar ,I would like put some 18" or 20" wheels but here where I live the roads are very bad and the feeling will be worse. I think is possible get a differnent shokcs type to improve the quality ride.
