Part #'s unclear, can someone help?

I have been waiting on (bmw) mechanic friend to fix a few things, but hes been on this hiatus in Asia and its been over 2 months.

I have to replace my valve cover gaskets and oil seperator, but I'm not sure exactly which parts I will have to order for each! Can someone take a look at the diagram here and let me know what I should order/replace? I have another (non bmw) mechanic friend who will work on it with me but he wants me to get the parts. Can someone help me pinpoint the parts from the diagrams linked below?

For valve cover gaskets...

For oil separator...

You need parts # 6 & 8

For oil separator :
You need parts # 1, 4,5

awesome thanks Tom.

I got price for all parts, and it comes to about $130 shipped, and that includes 16 nut gaskets and 6 bold gaskets... not so bad huh?

Don't forget #10 for the crankcase breather... it's a bitch to get to but needs to be changed as well.

Weasel, # 10 is a "hose clamp," did you mean # 9 "Oil return hose"?

Yes, I must have looked at it wrong... The oil return hose is what would need replacement with it.
