full air: 2002+ on all X5s must have sport (+$500 on 4.4, +$1200 on 3.0) and 4.8s
with this you can adjust the suspension to three levels

rear air: all 4.4, 4.6, optional on 3.0 (+$700)
automatically keeps the rear of the car leveled

i have a 2001 x5 3.0i, No sport package, all other options. I thought that the rear had an air suspension. Reason why I am curious is because I need new endlinks all around, and was thinking of picking up the rear adjustable ones.

Take a look inside your rear wheels, Do you see any springs? If not there should be a black Bag behind the wheel. Should look like this

By level do you mean lower the rear compared to the front or is the side to side out of level ?
