215 reps yet?
Some people love em, some people hate em, but i was wondering if anyone knew of any companies that are either producing or selling the factory 215 reps from the E70s. I just can't pull out the credit card on a factory set for $6k(even though i really want to).

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-X...QQcmdZViewItem Only $3500 (if you can say only and $3500 together when describing wheels. Since they have yet to release a replica of the much more desirable (at least from the comments I have seen) style 214 wheels I can not see a 215 being out yet from the aftermarket.

These folks seem to have the 214s... maybe they will have a lead on 215s for you.

Based on past experience with the replicas being heavier than the OEM wheels, you had better prepare for over 100 lbs each for the rear wheels with the 315 tires on them. My factory's were in the 80's for the front and 90's for the rear if I recall correctly! I would not put them on a 3.0.

You must have missed where mambro pointed those wheels out earlier in the thread over a week ago. Still, that's not really a bargain. I picked up a set of brand new (5 miles on the Odo) factory 214's with the factory run-flat Bridgestones for $2350.00, and who here would rather have a replica for more $$$$? |
