Unhappy Sinking Cash in My X5 and now need tires...

Hi All,

Just wanted to apologize first if this question has been answered.. I have been searching for an hour and cant find a direct answer.

After spending about 6 thousand dollars (since last November) on my 2001 X5 (CURSE Atlanta Auto Brokers for selling a lemon!) ... I now need to get tires and really am tired at shelling out cash for this car.

I am wondering... what is the advantage for running staggered tires? (Currently 255/50/19 front 285/45/19 rear)

Can I run the same tire size on all four wheels? If so, what is the best tire size for all four?

Good news: still love that dang car!! Doh!! Stupid BMW making awesome cars!

Thanks in advance,
Jen! : )
