Winter tires on 10.5" rims
I have read a lot of forum posts about putting tires on the stock 10.5" rims. Some say they won't fit, some say they will. I had not seen a final picture showing they do, so here is my public service announcement that Pirelli Scorpion Snow and Ice 275/40R20's fit on my 2006 4.8is rims. I got the same size tires for front and rear.
I know this is not the best to have such a wide tire on for winter, but it allows me to spend more money for some summer tire and rims!!  Also, I have 30 mm spacers in the rear too. Here are pictures...

I don't know why anybody would have said "they wouldn't fit", At 275/40R20 they are smaller then the factory 315/35/20. 110.00mm wide vs 110.25mm wide.
Should fit fine, nice pics though

I've also installed TOYO open country winter tyres 295/40R20 to the front and to the rear. No problems occured. But I've got no spacers. More to that I decided to install front mud guards to protect the paint job on the front doors against stone chips and mud.
