Front Driver side 2'' lower?

I've recently noticed that the front drivers side sit's about 2'' lower than the passanger side. I can tell without measuring that it's off. I've tried parking on different surfaces, with the samer results. The ride seems very bouncy, and just doesn't feel like it's taking the bumps well more like a bottom out feel.

I've tried searching but my tag words bring up nothing but people wanting to lower their X.

I have a 2003 X5 4.4i with 69K
I've recently changes lower control arm bushings, left axel & CV, Brakes and pads F&R.

Any advise?

I don't have a button to manually adjust the hight. The car automatically does it when I start.

No. It came on about 2 years ago after I was parked on awkward decline but went away on next restart.

I just lost a air bag on my front for a 4.8is and had the same leveling issue...The dealer said they had not heard of this before...2005 4.8is...It was just under 2" difference...

Did it set off any constant codes prior to taking the car in? Or is it something you just have to look for? Now it doesn't seem low all the time. It wouldn't be able to keep the air shock inflated?

sorry for all the questions

Mine did not set off any codes, the service tech had to research thru the computer to find the fault...The x5 was leaning enough to be apparent to my eyes, not a pretty sight!
