Yet another 22" wheel question!! :)

Hey guys, just a quick question with regards to a set of 22's...
Im looking at the black giovanna essen wheels for my 04 3.0, but i cant seem to get a staggard fitment, so my choices are 22 x 9 all the way around (which i think are going to look like wagon wheels) or 22 x 10.5 all the way around. My major concern is that teh front is going to stick out too much and look goofy, and with the eibach kit on order after its dropped i dont want to have any rubbing issues. My hopes are that i would be able to have my eibach kit installed and run the 10.5's all around wrapped in the BFG kdw2's 285/35ZR22s.

i had 22x10.5s with 285/35/22 bfg kdws but my truck was not lowered.

with the wheel cranked it rubbed a little bit in the front.

The 10.5s look sweet, 9.5 are just too narrow for the back with such a big rim.

Do you think the rubbing is something easily solved buy a set of spacers? I just dont want them sticking out an inch out of the wheel well.

If the rubbing is solved with a set of spacers i wonder if theres enough clearance then to lower it.

I agree that the 9.5's are too narrow. And i actually made a mistake its 22x9 not 9.5 which takes the kdw's out of the picture as the minimum rim width for the 285's is 9.5 *sigh*.

The only problems is it will more than likely stick out too much in the front.

For example, my 10.5s were perfectly flush in the front with no spacers. I did add 20mm spacers in the rear.

Here are some pictures of my old setup.

^^ Thanks for the pics Krunk...those bfg's look pretty bad ass. I think my plan of attack will be to get my rims and tires on, see what kinds of clearance i have for lowering it, and then make a decision from there. I saw another member who has a blue 4.6 (i think) that also had the bfg's on 10.5 ac schnitzer type 2's and was lowered as well.

I ordered some Black 22" Giovanna Berlins for my 3.0 si. i was advised to go with the 22 x 9, because the 10.5s would stick out in the front. i hope it doesn't look like i put wagon wheels on :-(
