Vince I really like these tires and the price.....but what about the winter..could we get through the Tri state winter with these on or do we have to swap them out.......??? this may be the deciding factor in throwing the wheels on now or waiting til march??? what are your thoughts??

ive never had a problem running summer tires on 20s in the winter around here. i can say from experience that the tires handle extremely well in wet conditions but havent tested them in snow.

There is NO was in hell I am running mine in the winter. These look to be scary in the snow. I LOVE the summer grip. I will be picking up a set of winter wheels for the cold months. I also live in VA and we do get a little snow.

I have been on Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD's in the snow....never again, not worth hurting someone else. It's not the going, it's the stopping and turning that is the problem. Yes I do know how to drive in the snow, grew up in NY and have many seasons on the snow.

This X5 will get in the snow, but not with the Vredestein's

Thumbs up

I just ordered the Ultrac SUV Sessanta's to replace the Diamaris' as my new summer setup.....

$930 including shipping/mount & balance

I have the Wintrac Xtreme's winter tires from Vredestein and you could climb a tree with them, they are quiet and have great snow traction.

So how many miles do you have on them by now and do you feel any differently about them now than when you first got them?? What country are they made in btw??
