Thumbs up Tire Protection

My brother got a double hit the other night. He was driving home, saw a huge pot hole, swerved to avoid it but caught the edge. He immediately got the flat tire warning. His front was blown completely and the rear, although not flat, had the golf ball bulge in the side wall. This is the second time he has had a blow out. Tire rack shows his tires at $503 each for the front and $455 each for the rears. His previous blow out was a front. Had he not purchased the tire protection it would have cost him just shy of $1500 so far. He picked up the B7 in May of '08.

Walking out of the dealer with 2 brand new tires and $0 out of pocket...PREICELESS.

I know our tires aren't as expensive or as susceptible to blow outs but it sure makes a case for getting the protection. He was covered no questions asked.
