Perhaps I'm missing something but a 275 is the widest OEM size that was offered for the E53? (275/40/20)

315/35/20 was offered for the rears.

. Unless you rock a set of dished out HRE's like Wuzin back in the day.... then (and only then) 22's are acceptable.
