Interested in using e39 style 5's on my e53

So I have an extra set of style 5's laying around in the garage and I'd love to be able to put them on my x5 for use in the summer. Does anyone know if this can be done? I know it will need the hubcentric rings but even with those will it still be possible? If the only way to do it would be with spacers I probably wouldn't want to do it as I don't think spacers on a 5000+ lb truck is a good idea. Thanks!

The handy dandy wheel pic chart shows offset of 20 (!) & 24; I am assuming you
have the 18" wheels. Dunno...even if you got them on the wheel bolt pattern,
with rings probably, those are serious azz low profile tires, and "lack of size" in
your X's wheel wells, imo.

You will probably get some better info...
