FSETH:
I was running the Zero's - i guess i should have read the initial question a little more carefully as he was referring to the ATR's. Sorry.
54.4:
Not offroading - Donner Pass is I-80. 6 lanes of terror that day...

Zero Rosso (summer) or Zero Asimmetrico (all seasons)?

I ask because I recently bought some Vreds through the group buy here on the site, but at the last minute also ordered some Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico's because I was hoping to get longer life out of the Pirelli's. I decided to install the Pirelli's and I thought I too felt some minor wandering of the X with the Pirelli's on the highway. I chalked it up to the treads being new and very deep. I have an 02 4.4i sport package with the staggered 19's, just like you.

Assymetrico's - they seemed to wander even when brand new, and have gotten worse as they (quickly) lose tread depth.
My mechanic drove it and his opinion was that the tires were 'blown inside' (i think thats what he said) and we should get them off the car ASAP.
I believe that we will have to accept a Pirelli product as part of the warrenty agreement, and i'm going to take a long look at the ATR's.

Thanks to all those who participated in this thread.

I wouldn't bother with the ATRs (= All-Terrain Radial) unless you do a fair bit of gravel/dirt roads, mud or off-road. They are a compromise tyre rather than specialist road tyre. They suit me but that's because of where I live.
