Polished my rims

Polished my rims this weekend and man o man.. why did I not do this b4?

Picked up the Mothers polish and one of those buffing things you attach to a drill gun from Autozone.

I never really spent much time on my rims but once I got started and saw the outcome i was like: OMG!... lol

Once you do a polish it makes it easier for future cleanings...

Just curious as to whether or not you buffed off/through the clear coat?
If so, you might be looking at continual maintenance and/or deterioration
of the underlying color coat on the wheel finish.

I have an old Harley Shovel head with lots of "bare" metal showing and
it sure looks fine after a Simichrome polish session, but it surely doesn't
last too long...
NEway, just curious and we want good, sharp, close in pics!

lol... and good sharp close in pics you will get my friend
I applied with my hand and also removed most with a rag...i finished up with a ploisher thing that was attached to my drill gun...
The rim is currently silky smooth and cleans real easy now....
I really did not apply too much pressure and I think i am safe...

Nice job! One could eat off those rims...
Well done, with not too much pressure
on the polish job!

Re: Polished my rims

Great job! I will do the same when I take off my winter wheels (same as yours) it'll be easier to get to the hard to reach places with the wheels off.
