Style 336 wheels. Are there different wheels on X5 and X6?
I'm looking to buy a set of used staggered Style 336 wheels (BMW OEM) for my 2008 E70 4.8i. These 336 wheels have came off a 2011 X6. They are in a distant state...
I see conflicting info (on multiple forums) as to whether I will need to have hub adapters on the rear wheels: 1. From previous posts, I got this info: ----------Front-----Rear----------Bolts E70 X5---74 mm----74 mm -------M14X1.25 E71 X6---74 mm----72.50 mm-----M14x1.25 2. From a dealer's auction of Style 336 from an 2011 set of 336's taken off an X5 (not an X6 like I'm getting), he says: E70 X5 series (2007 to current) - no modification required I can purchase the wheels and measure the hub sizes when they arrive but wondered if anyone could help answer this? Thanks |
