How do I know? I bought the H&R adapters from ECS Tuning and had to return them. Had multiple email exchange with ECS Tuning on this issue.

I have previously posted that the only way that you can use these 72.x mm wheels on the E70 X5 is by having them bored out. Which I did do. Those are X6 wheels on my car right now (that had to be bored out).
Per H&R they are the correct ones for the E70. LINK to H&R fitment guide. That being said, I just noted H&R also says they fit both the E70 and E39. Both the E70 and the E39 use a M12X1.5 bolt size and pitch bolt. Both have 74.1mm hubs. In theory they should have fit considering there are very very few times H&Rs guide is incorrect.
