LQQking for Tires
I need to change 4 new tires to my 2002 X5 3.0 and I am lQQking for all weather tires that are better than the OEM. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Sport on Non-Sport. The yokohma geolander is basically the best all season tire you can buy for the 3.0i.

also check discounttire.com, they sometimes have cheaper prices, but definetly for tirerack.

Where are you located? "All weather": Does that include snow? What kind of driving do you do? These things will influence the recommendations you will get. I went with Toyo Proxes ST's in 19" for my 100% street driving here in Souther California.

That is true but take into consideration shipping charges and the costs for mounting and balancing. I have had decent luck with America's Tire/Discount Tire price matching Tire Rack. I did buy from Tire Rack a couple times though.

PNG had the old style Pirelli Scorpion Zero which are noisy.

The newer design is a better design and does great for light snow. I was able to drive through 1.5 feet of snow on 19" wheels last year.

The newer design is called Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico which they do have sizes for the 19" wheels and 18" wheels.

I'd buy tires from Costco if there is one in your area. Lifetime free balance and tire repair. Cheapest anywhere, the price they quote you is out the door which includes tax, mounting, and balancing. The only downside maybe is not a wide selection but they do carry Michelin's. They also can order certain tire models. Good luck.

Costco is a good place to go, they even put nitrogen in my tires ( check your local costco if they have this option )
