Can somebody explain what quantitative and qualitative differences exist between ISO9001, QS9000, TS-16949, VIA, JWL, TUV, SAE, SFI, and DOT?

Or is it simply an anachronymic quagmire like the IBA, IBC, IBF, IBO, IBU, WBA, WBC, WBD, WBO, and WBU?
