TOM: Can someone please tell me the status of my order? I mailed back the defective part on FEB.27. The RMA# is RM38192JW. I also sent you an email and a PM., with no reply back.

Please use email or contact me by phone for status requests for the quickest response time, if by email - please include your full name.

Tom,

I have emailed you and paged you and no responses...

I went ahead and installed the DICE unit on my 2004 x5, everything was working perfectly fine during the day. Then on my way to Atlantic City, the Unit stopped responding all of the sudden. I noticed that the ipod started going back and forth on the screen showing me the main menu and going to "Dice is okay disconnect" also noticed on my instrument cluster that now it's showing the message "DETACHED". I have reset my ipod couple of times and even restored it from scratch and same thing.

PLEASE HELP fix this issue, hopefully is something simple and I don't need to go through the whole battery thing (which I would hate).

Thanks,
Dannye

I replied to an email of yours last night - I am recommending the battery reset procedures be performed as your issue is likely to a bad initialization.

Hey TOM,

Thanks for your reply. I was able to get my DICE unit to work and didn't have to go through the battery reset procedures. YUPIIII

1. Switched off ignition
2. Disconnected both cables from the DICE unit and the cable to the ipod
3. Reset ipod holding menu and center button
4. After 3 minutes with the DICE unit disconnected, connected cables again.
5. Turned on ignition and connected iPod and VOILA!

I am very intersted in picking one of these up for my 2004 X5. I have a quick question, do I have to disconnect the cd changer? And do you sell any mounting plates for the ipod? I have the 6 disk changer w/ nav. I dunno if you needed to know that or not.?

You won't be able to use your CD changer if you install the DICE unit, but again you won't need it either.

Preference

Hello,

What would you prefer for me?

Radio Harness or Trunk setup?

I have 1999, 328I. Want quick, easy installation but that functions best.

Thanks.
