Tough choice! Space Gray is a very nice color and a safe color. It's safe like Titanium Silver but with a little more wow to it. No one will ever say they don't like your color choice and resale will be easier with Space Gray but....

Montego Blue is quite striking. The pics with the masking looks too soft but the other pics LeMans posted look much better. I will say this though: If you get Montego Blue you must butch up the car a little to overcome the slightly more feminine nature of the color. I say this as a guy who used to own a Zenith Blue Boxster which appears to be in the same range of blue as Montego. (See attached.) Some bigger wheels and tints would make it look even better.

My E90 color choice was made easier because I ruled out Sparkling Graphite due to its closeness to Steel Gray on my X5 and I had to have Terra leather so that ruled out some colors I thought would look bad with it. I really thought about Monaco Blue but it was so close to black and I didn't think it was as nice looking when paired with Terra.

I know, get one of each.

Thanks for the replies so far everyone. I am still leaning to keeping the Space Gray, but really do like the Montego Blue.

Anyone else seen Montego in person? So far, one person has said that it has a slight hint of purple (which I don't want) kinda like Interlagos. I think a flashy royal blue would stand out and it does in the BMW test drive pics. I'm headed out of town this weekend, so won't be able to see if my dealer has any Montego Z4s around.

Didn't really think there were any feminine issues with Montego, but I did get the sport package with staggered wheels

Haha, I do like Alpine, but half my family has white cars and I've teased them for years about it. Not that it looks bad, but b/c no one has the balls to get another color.

I like the grey. Also safe as Kevin said. Downside is I'm sure it will be a very popular color so there will be many on the road. I guess you need to ask yourself if the novelty will wear off on the blue. If not, go for it.

Thats what I was worried about. When I had my silver e46, the only color I saw on the road was silver!!!! since Space Gray seems to be the posterboy color, I was thinking that everyone would get the same color. I really wish they had BMW Individual for the 3 series, or offered ///M colors as Priority 1 right now.

I'm sure you're not going to leave it stock and will mod it so it stands out from the rest...

I spoke to somebody who has seen it and he says that he does not think it has any hint of purple.
