I was re-organizing my hard drive and going through my digital pics and found these pics for my old BMW. I did let it go back in 2003 and by then it had over 290K miles.
This pic was taken in 2000. That car was bulletproof (of course as long as you changed the timing belt every 4 years or 60K miles and also changed the water pump at the same time). Same radiator, same tranny, same exhaust, same engine when I let it go. It even passed CA smog test back in 2001!! Bronzit beige metallic with natur colored interior. It had Dinan ECU chip, K&N panel filter, Eibach strut brace, and Bilstein struts/shocks, ATE Power disc, Pagid pads, and Borbet 15" wheels (wow, 15" wheel size was stock for the E30 M3 back then). It had a built-in K40 radar and CHP detector, stereo upgraded with 8 speakers inside and one 10" sub in the trunk and CD Changer (that was before MP3 and iPods!!) It also use to have a built-in cellphone, but it was defunct once hand-held mobiles were common. I did add a cupholder as well. Wow, lots of memories with that car!

Yes, since day 1, back in 1989!! Served me well through undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate years & as a spare car once I finished with all my schooling/training.

Very nice indeed..A friend of mine just picked up an e30 and a week later realized the odo wasn't working..He ran a report on it just Monday and the mileage noted in 1994 was like 240,000 miles...It only reads 254,000 now!

those are some miles. But then again your X5 will also have similar mileage by the time you are done with it.
