Absolutely get the 335. I test drove the Lexus and did not like it at all. It has some nice bells and whistles but the feel was pure Toyota, which is fine if one likes that but if you're a BMW man/woman then the 335 is the way to go. The other two things about the IS is that it is tiny inside and I'm not a big guy. The back seats are torture for adults. Ask SuperGreg who was sitting in the back during the test drive.
Also, factor in the lack of "free" maintenance with the Lexus. I figure that you'll save some money there since BMW still provides that.As far as options go, Sport Package is a must. My E90 has it and it is just incredible. The ride is so perfect and not too stiff. I skipped the Active Steering and Adaptive Cruise. Both are a waste of money, IMO. Even though the navigation is not great, you should get it to get the great control of the iDrive. I am not super hot on iDrive but it is far better than the first iteration. The voice commands make life a little easier. For pure cool factor, Comfort Access is good to get. I have been having some issues with mine and more than a few times have stood with my thumb on the door handle like an idiot waiting for something to happen but overall, it's very convenient. I have test driven an E92 335i and it was just fantastic. The power is so abundant and there is simply nothing like it. I don't regret getting the 330 but at the time I ordered it the E90 335 was still far out on the horizon. Who knew it would make it over so soon. As I said though, the 330 is still a very, very good car and I still enjoy it as does my wife. Good thing it's a lease. ![]() Are you getting an E90 or E92? If E90, you've got to take a look at my Blackline rear lights. I got them before the car was even delivered.

G35= too noisey in the back seat.
Is-350= Fast, typical Lexus but those rear doors are for midgets. 335i= A little too small for us. we got a 530i.

Picked up my 335i coupe over Thanksgiving weekend, and haven't gotten the smile off my face yet. Absolutely the most fun I've ever had driving a car (normal driving, not track). No 1st year problems yet.

I just picked up a 2007 BMW 335i sedan last tuesday. Got it with cold weather, sport, premium packages, and nav. This car is awesome! This is a 4 door M3 without the badging. I love this car! I suggest you get one asap.
