New M3

Rumors said that the v8 to be used in the upcoming new M3 will deliver 426hp. Will this be the strongest v8 that BMW has made in its current cars? Will the rumored NG v8 biturbo (for the "is" X5, X6, F01 and F10) beat this hp number? or will BMW modify the M3 engine for use in the "is" X5, X6, F01 and F10? It seems that there will be a lot of excitement with BMW this year.
