Silly E39 M5 question

I saw an Avus or Topaz Blue E39 M5 today but it had chrome window trim. I thought that the E93 M5's all had Shadowline trim. I know that someone could have swapped it out but I wanted to know if that was ever an option. I have never before seen an E39 M5 with chrome window trim.

Never seen this as an option. Could it have been a fake M5? There are some good one's out there.

I considered that. I looked for as many clues as I could before it turned off. It has the right front and rear bumpers, wheels, deck spoiler, badging, mirrors, and quad exhaust. I also think it was Avus Blue which is an M-only color. That's partly why the chrome trim threw me.

Thanks SAN and LeMans for clearing that up. It's a bit or a rarity I think. Personally, I way prefer Shadowline over chrome.
