I think I remember reading that the E60 M5 pulls like crazy at high speeds, and the E39 doesn't have a chance...

Probably due to the fact that the S54 and the new V8 produces top numbers of hp at 7900 and 8300 respectively.

This is a confirmed leak. Somebody made some money under the desk. BMW did not intend to release these pics at this time. This was supposed to be done in June/July, when the associated press release is also ready. More power to you.

Like the Colors:

Upholstery
The standard upholstery on the new BMW M3 Coupé is Novillo leather in the following colours:
Black (NCSW)
Palladium Silver (NCH1)
Fox Red (NCH2)
Bamboo Beige (NCH3)
Extended Novillo leather is available as an upgrade and available in all four colours.

Interior Trim
The following trims are available exclusively on the new BMW M3 Coupé:
Titanium Shadow (771) - Standard
Aluminium Shadow (4MX)
Black Carbon-structure Leather trim (4MY)
Anthracite mirror finish Wood (4MZ)
