Windshield for 325i

What options are there for replacing a windshield? I already pmed Morristown for a price. 2004 325i with rain sensor. It's for one of the girls in the office, she called one of those mobile glass services but they said they couldn't help because of the rain sensor.

TIA

Does she have glass coverage on her insurance policy? If so, just have a local dealer replace it.

Morristown BMW has a very good price for the windshield and installation.

Got a new one for the M5, replaced it due to sand pitting/chips.

i thought rain sensor is in the rear view mirror base and has nothing to do with the windshield?

She's a brand new driver, her mother doesn't want to put it through insurance

It doesn't raise your premiums, I had the Z4's window replaced because of a rock clip, I think it was like 400.00

It apparently does. Something to do with the coating/reflective qualities of the glass. It's not something any store or glass shop can do.

Full glass coverage is like Comprehensive, no premium impact (usually). I would call the agent and just ask to be safe.

I have full glass coverage on all my cars. No deductible for glass clamis.
BTW, Safelite replaces glass with rain sensor. Rain sensor is behind rear view mirror, not in the glass.
